Our Spring
Death is a natural part of life, but knowing this doesn't make it any easier to confront, especially when it comes so suddenly.
When the unexpected passing of a beloved artist hits Melody and her friends, they find themselves looking for ways to move forward and heal from the shock while keeping his memory alive.
Our Spring is a visual novel about grief, friendship, and healing through art, with one true ending.

Our Spring was developed over the course of 14 weeks as part of my capstone project in the Game Design and Production course at Digital Worlds. The game is based on real events and draws from the experiences of myself and my friends. It is completely free-to-play, with optional donations set up.
절 위해 해 주신 모든 것에 대해 감사드립니다. 수고했어요. 정말 고생했어요. 그댄 나의 자랑이죠.

damn. I had started listing to kpop a few years after this, so I never really experienced this. This still had me in tears. I have artists and groups that mean so much to me and I can't even imagine how I would feel if they passed. It has seemed like in recent years the mentality surrounding the industry has improved, but it's still not perfect. I remember one of the first groups I listened to was f(x), and after looking them up online I saw the old headlines and just...paused. And I didn't even really know them. This game was honestly beautiful. I also seriously want to compliment the illustration in this. I don't really know what else to add, but this was amazing.
Thank you so much for making this! When Jonghyun died I didn't know any shawols to grieve with, so I just managed my own. I don't know that I really processed his death fully until recently, and this helped. I couldn't listen to his last solo album for a while too, but the group's Poet Artist is bringing me back to it again. Much love fellow artist! :)
Lots of love always, I'm glad it could help you heal the same way it helped me 🥹
